Thank you number5 the posting of a few pics, for me, much appreciated.

We do own another car which is the new fiesta and my OH has no probs getting in and out with that, but she also liked attending the car shows and the drives out on cruises, its these are the problem days now! If we change the car I would still like to stay with a BMW and have been looking for a 135m sport, that in my opinion will give the best of both worlds, bit of performance and not so low, we could also sell the fiesta as well then! That's our thoughts anyway at the moment. I'm in no rush. :driving:

Don't buy it, although it's beautiful and in excellent order - we all want Brian to keep it really, otherwise it will all end in tears !!!

Not sure if this is an appropriate place for a question.
I've not been a Z owner for long but I've already got the bug and I'm finding myself looking for bigger and better!
Anyway to the question:
What sets the Alpina apart from the M?

As I've previously said, owning an Alpina is like being a member of White's whereas ownership of an ///M is akin to being a regular at Stringfellows...

Excellent, thanks.
I wondered if there was something like that out there.
Doesn't make the decision too easy though does it!
Thanks again.

OK I did have a few interested peeps checking out the car at Zedfest but I have now once again reduced the price to £11250. which is really low considering the condition on this Alpina, "BUT" i need to get something higher off the road for Linda, or Linda's gotta go instead

And therein lies your solution :)
