Z4 M COUPE at last!

Post by z4mcoupe2009 » Sat Jul 22, 2017 2:42 pm

After looking on/off ever since I sold my last z4mc in 2013 I have bought another one from a forum member/piston heads, barring a couple of others (hexagon 1,000 and a 13,000/16,000 mile one sold through KG & Hurlingham) it is the best one I have seen in person or online over the last couple of years;

Black sapphire, imola red seats with no wear (or repair) 57 plate 30,700 miles, ac scnitzer strut brace & back box, the boot looks like it has never been used with all battery poppers in tact, it had a full inspection at a local indy BMW with no faults, fsh, mot......, really pleased :)

I have viewed a few with 20-30,000 miles for the last few years but was not taken. This one is in amazing condition, its not new but it reminds me of when I had a new one, I had more of a smile driving this last night than my 2 previous AMG's or since I had last had a z4mc!!!!

The gentleman was passionate and genuine and it was really nice buying from him, I might of paid 80% of what I paid for my previous new/pre registered but it is worth it, I will tax it for August and then garage it until next summer :(

Sounds fantastic but it's not official without any photos! :P I hope you enjoy the car!

Sometimes the thrill of the chase is the best bit. I was on the lookout for similar recently but ended up with a box fresh Z4MR instead as I couldn't find a coupe I liked. I've been contacted recently by some dealers though (none of those you mentioned) with some lovely spec low milers. Too late as I have a car now but there are still one or two lovely examples out there for those who are still on the lookout!

Crisp example there , shame it won't be getting used but that's each to their own :( passenger side backbox doesn't level with the drivers but that should tweak easy enough .
Glad you got there in the end , tenacity in abundance :thumbsup:

I would love to use it more but having 1 toddler and another on the way means it is not worth taxing it, also have to store it at partners mother half an hour away.

Previous one used as main car for nearly 5 years, loved it but in hindsight should of been a second car

lovely car... looks mega low miles!! jealous of the RED seats!

those exhausts are pretty ugly for such a nice car and aren't sitting correctly, for some reason ever ACS rear tailpipes seem to sit like this , consider getting some stock boxes ???

Unusual for us to agree on anything but have to second that , they do look naff imo & especially so on such a crisp low miler :cry: any ACS part thrown on any BMW will always divide opinion as they are so " stand out " .
If its the full fat ACS then fine but when its a few oddments here & there then you have to question whether its like adding stripey socks to a rooster :cry:

I preferred the originals, however after seeing them a few times I love them, the "quad point" were black, however the previous owner had the insides painted chrome so the quad effect could be noticed more, apparently they were ordered/specified from the original owner from the dealer

That looks a lovely example, you are going to need an awful lot of self restraint not to use it over the next few months.

... if he's been waiting since 2009 to get a Z4MC, definitely tenacious (and a wee bit patient, as well) :wink:
