Hi,
I been offered an 35is, and its very tempting – but here comes my dilemma –
Do I sell my car privately with all its mods – or make it back to OEM – as the 35is is from a main dealer.
If I sold it privately – how would you value it -with 34,000 miles
2 years left on Service plan, and I change the oil every 8,000 miles.
Models included
KW’3
Catless + Orginal CATS

I would agree a trade in price with mods removed.
Then try to sell privately with mods included.
If no takers, then remove mods and keep for the new car or sell on here, job done!
Lovely car mate, although oersonally I wouldnt buy one that was lowered!

Yeh remove the mods mate I think you will get a better price from a dealer as standard, they will probably use the mods to knock the P/X value down!
Best of luck with your decision cant be easy for you I know!

Not being funny and hope you take this the right way, your car looks great but maybe trading in at the dealers would be the best choice considering the amount of posts you have made on here about your drag racing.
I dont think I would be comfortable buying something that you know for definate had been up and down the strip chasing times.
Im not saying that your car could have problems earlier than others either, but it wont help, just my opinion.

Ditto didn't want to say it out loud but have to agree with above great car no doubt & with great care lavished but for me on this occasion any tweaks or mods will be overshadowed by its "achievements" in sprint times .Nictrix wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 10:00 pm Not being funny and hope you take this the right way, your car looks great but maybe trading in at the dealers would be the best choice considering the amount of posts you have made on here about your drag racing.

I'm sure any potential forum buyers would also be wary so i would flirt off any saleable parts , return to stock where poss & take a trade offer if the figures work , otherwise waiting for a sale could lose you the next car
Best of luck , no criticism intended

Thank you for your comments, and they were constructive and also appreciated.
My plan was to take the mods off - and sell them separately - however, since I was offered a 35is with the only 6k - there was a panic.
However the car is now sold
Now thinking about M2 or G29 Z4
