As a matter of interest what sort of milage does Mrs P manage in it?

Stu.
It's a 2.5 remember Stu! :?

She doesn't drive it enough to measure really but that's a good idea and will trial it. As a general rule with previous cars and the X3, about 50% more than I get :D

Ah ha, I see sir. In that case would it not have been an opportune moment for you and the lovely Laura to have car troubles

Haha i reminded her of that. I said 'last time we were coming back from somewhere this car went 'ker-plupp' '. So it was quite a moment as we both looked at each other while i turned the ignition. The tension was palpable.

Always having fun Fred  We both know it needs a bigger engine Fred, something like a 35i maybe :P Im now getting worried that we'll have to plan our trip to the Alps around my fuel stops or get Smartbear to tow a bowser for me. Obviously Stupot's boot is going to be full of all the stuff the Bear and I can't fit in our tiny boots :D
Sorry Fellas - I'm saving my boot space for a couple of immigrants with a fist full of Euro's 8)
Hang on a minute, we'll be the immigrants!

Fuel economy issue?

To be boring, I reset mine when i got it 1st Sept this year, covered about 2.5k miles since then. Mostly daily 10mile commute, about 1/3 town rest dual carriage way with a few 500mile round trips and some 'spirited' weekend visits to the moors. Spend the majority of the time in normal apart from the moors visits, sit somewhat higher that i should on dual carriageways and motorways and mainly have the roof down. 3.5 degrees this morning, new record.

Long and short of it, i'm averaging a whisker below 30mpg. Running standard 17" run flats.

Hope that wall of text helps
