control display panel not folding down

Post by Johnbmwz4 » Tue Nov 08, 2016 1:45 pm

Hi, just noticed my control display panel is not folding down. It should go down and up when ignition is on or it can fold down by voice control and it is doing neither. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance

me nan used to ask me to give the top of her telly a bash when it went out of tune. Always worked and weirdly, always seemed to happen when Family Fortunes was on. Give ur dash a cheeky slap maybe?
just an idea...

siriusly tho: my displpay (E85) wouldnt go down more than about 45 degrees once when i inadvertently left my sunglasses in the recess. lowered by hand on ignition off and seemed to work ok after that.
must use a position indexer...

Display control panel not folding down(now fixed)

Post by Johnbmwz4 » Tue Nov 08, 2016 8:00 pm

All working fine now and haven't done anything apart from lock car for half hour then get back in it. Must be one of them electrical gremlins. Hopefully won't do it again but will monitor it
