Dashcam Viofo A119

Post by flybobbie » Sun Jan 29, 2017 2:48 pm

Bought one of these after one my customers had an incident which got recorded, which resulted in quite aggressive road rage and Police called.
When he showed the video to the Police officer, he was told to be on his way whilst the copper had a one hour discussion with the other driver, so they do have a use.

I bought the Viofo A119 after some good reviews, but if you buy this cam, buy it with the gps module, even if it's not used because the standard mount on our windshield is too close to the glass to set the lense in the correct position, too much dash and bonnet.
I managed to find a piece of solid rubber to act as a standoff as it comes with an extra sticky pad.

Dash cameras are worth their weight in gold in those circumstances.
I have an old mini 0801 that's still going strong 3 years now.
3.0si roadster. Requisite stubby. Sound gen mod. LED numberplate lights. LED boot strip. Interior lights LED too. ZHP gearknob. Daily drive :driving:
Motor in boot. Bilstein B8 dampers. New radio, much better sounds
