Removal of Air Bag Controle Module

Post by Unclepip » Fri Jul 21, 2017 2:07 pm

HI there,

Can anybody point me to some guidelines on how to remove centre console to get to the Air Bag Control Module that I need to replace. I have searched the site and can't find anything, or what I have found seems to have dead links to Photo Bucket. Apologies if I am missing something, but any help appreciated please.

Thanks

Phil

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to respond. My friend is it doing it for me. I think he is struggling to work out how to get the centre module out and the rear module exposing the control module.

Its a bloody stupid place to put the module. The replacement unit needs to be coded to the car by a BMW dealer.
All the info and pictures have disappeared thanks to our feckless chums at PB :headbang:
