I've upgraded the head unit on my E85 and am wondering whether to remove t5he 6 CD changer that lives behind my left elbow and bunging it onto eBay.
Is it a complicated process?

Removing the CD changer
Personally for the few quid you'd get I'd leave it where it is. Its a pain in the arse to get out.

Removing the CD changer
It's about 1-2 hours to take out and the same to put all of the plastics back. As per Srhutch just leave it where it is. I'd remove the Cd cassette though.
