agree on not having a similar colour, Set 1 or 3 for me based on colour, but black would look good on a grey car i would thinkmr wilks wrote:Interesting that choice 4 is out front yet virtually matches the cars own grey paint colour
i think they would virtually "kill" the cars looks & look smaller than they would if a contrasting colour
The same wheels in matt black or high silver or hyper black would look great on the OPs car imo

What finish did you go for on them? I like the Gunmetal Bathhurst ones myself.dhracer wrote:This took quite a tangent

I went for gunmetal, they should be arriving sorbet Friday or Monday so I'll put some pics up then. Not too horrifically expensive in the end considering they're forged but still a bit more than I originally planned to spend!K3RT wrote:What finish did you go for on them? TSW Bathurst a great choice far nicer than any of your original options imo
They look great with the concave spoke style although need to be convinced with gunmetal on a grey car will wait for the pics

Looks OK. The car definitely needs lowering and some bmw centre caps adding.

Out of curiousity what are the widths, offsets & tyre sizes ? The fronts look borderline out / in the arch

Fronts are 8.5 et35 with 225/40, rears are 9.5et39 with 255/35.
The fronts seem fine, the rears are borderline.

They look good DH. I think the colour looks cool, too. The arch gaps are slightly too big in the scheme of things now but my worry would be that with any lowering, mostly the fronts drop more than the backs and you might have a rubbing issue with those tyres - that being said, those are 18s, right? Most guys go for a bigger diameter wheel but looks like you haven't, and it all gets a bit too technical withe measurements for me from this point on...!
They look good to me anyway!

Yeah, they're 18s. I didn't really want to go bigger as I think they already looked big enough and then you factor in the ride on our appalling roads plus the cost of tyres...
The arch gaps look pretty comical now, I'll lower it at some point but coilovers aren't cheap so it'll probably have to wait, a smidge of camber should sort any rubbing if there is any
