Wheels finally ordered but ...

Post by JimsZ » Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:40 pm

I have gone for non runflat tyres with them so am now looking for a puncture repair kit to pack in the boot as a back up.

I have seen this on Halfords web: http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/ ... ir-sealant

As well as this: http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/ ... repair-kit

2nd one is nearly twice the price.

Any one got either and care to comment, recomend either or an alternative.

Pics will follow when wheels are on the car :driving:

Well one includes the pump/compressor other doesn't. And you need it so I'd say the 2nd is the kit you should go for :)

Doh!

Typical bloke I didn't read the instructions properly... :

Wrongly assumed the other kit was a compressed canister, self injecting, not a refill.

Thanks for pointing that out, I guess there's only one option then

They are sporting goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 3 non runflat tyres - Good choice I hope..

They look smart, i like that style too 8)

Soo many choices...

What to do with the old ones now they are off...

Oh and found a BIG disadvantage of switching to non runflats today....

The wife wants to drive the car again
