Re: New Rubber
That's more than I paid for new Pilot Super Sports all round from Costco - £500 for rears and £450 for fronts - and if I'd bought them at the same time there would have been 20% off (didn't because the rears were fine until I got a slice in the sidewall from a pothole).
If I'd not been in a hurry, I could have got PSS for £920 from Camskill or PS2 for £880.

Re: New Rubber
they still are on the dad's Panda ......
Problem I have is kinda personal ........ racing the bikes and stuff - tyres are kinda the be all and end all of staying alive.
There's not much chance of me pushing the M to the limit on the road - but 3 to 4 mm on wide tyres sends shivers up ma wee spine in the wet.
Speaking of which drove back to Scotland from down south last monday (went to a funeral) ....... it was proper horsing it down coming through the lake district ........ turned off the M74 at Lanarkshire and decided to give myself a break and cut across country ....... it was dark ...... came down a dip doing about 50 mph straight into a flooded road I mean like 3 inches deep and 50 yards across
I swear, the zed floated right across the top like a speed boat ......... woke me up anyway.

I just got 4 new Continents for a lot less than that! About £700 for all four fitted. The new Contact Sport 5 P's.

New rubber time on my (non-M) Z4 soon, can't believe the increase in prices since I last bought tyres for it 3 years ago...
