I'm not sure the BBS alloys will be that much easier to clean than the Momo's, however they will be easier to clean than the ones presently on, as they have a hidden dip on the inside of each spoke.

The poll was which would suit the car better, not which were easier to clean....

I think that if I only did a few thousand miles a year, 19" wheels would be a possibility. but doing 25,000 miles a year on motorways, its just not worth it
good point

i use mine for weekend use only so looks are the main factor for me

How 'bout Option 1 on the front and Option 2 on the rear?
The best of both worlds!

I'll just run off and hide in a corner now ... but not before saying that I actually like Option 1 better ...

My 17" alloys have Falken HS 439 winter tyres fitted, so either I get a new pair if alloys or swap them for summer tyres in March. What makes that unappealing is that I can't transport the wheels to and from the tyre fitters without help from friends.

What about BMW multi spoke 293? I think they look quite nice on non-M Sport models. Cleaning will be PITA though.

On BMW website, a set of 17" 290 wheels with winter RFT is £1,600. Quite reasonable.

The 18" BBS CF's with ContiContactSport 5P come in at £1,200.00 and since I have made the choice in fitting the non rft winter wheels, without impact to my insurance, I probably will not be going back to them me thinks.

I really like these in the gloss anthracite, a little cautious on the diamond cut finish of the others as they have a tendency to oxidise. I just wanted something different to the alloys on at present.

A nice layer of wheel sealant, like Poorboy's Wheel Sealant and cleaning shouldn't really be an issue. :D
