Ive finally getting around to tinkering with the car. I fitted my sound system. Fitted a text alert system.BUT CAN'T DECIDE ON WHEELS... I've narrowed it down to two sets. Can I please have your opinions. Because after i buy them im stuck with them. Wife said :headbang: forgot how to do pics.but they are 19" AXE EX15 think they look a bit like the mv2s or thats just me.or the AXE EX18 both from bm autosport. Thank you for taking the time to read this xxx
Thread revival after 2 years :D just clarify which Z4 model / colour you have & maybe some fresh ideas may come forward
True but fair play to the OP for finding his original thread!

19's so look nice and fill the arch much better, however 18's are more practical... with my local pot-hot-ridden roads in mind!

Your choice but the narrower wheels will work better with those offsets imo

My mistake , i searched 19s & hadnt realised the 8j 9j were 18s ( even though looking again its there to see :D )
You are on 17s now though so get the right tyre size & upping to 18s will be noticeable & still retain a decent ride quality
Offsets , wheel style & tyre sizes can easily make a smaller wheel seem bigger & vice versa .
Ultimately though you go for what you prefer

Rears 265 30 or 255 35 ( my preference ) fronts being 8.5j et 35 ? ideally 235 35 which i think would be ok but "may" rub very slightly if pressing on in the twisties :driving: 225 35 should see you ok
