Looking at new rims...

Post by montero1 » Mon Oct 31, 2016 6:38 am

Want to replace my style 108s with E89 style 293. Offset on my 108's were 47-50, the style 293s are 29-40. Really dont want to have to buy any type of adapters. Thoughts?

Will fit, althoug the 29 offset on the front is pushing the limits. what tyre size do you want to use??

Whilst they may fit with a 215 40 tyre to avoid arch rub i can't see them sitting pretty on a E85

Crap ...I really don't want to buy another set of 108's, they seem to corrode very easily.... I like the 236's also, can you recommend anything that will fit right on my E85? I really like a lot of the E89 OEM wheels...

I had 296s (19s off a E89) on a 2.5 se
The 293s will fit no trouble mate & most likely on the 225 40s , 215 40s are just a option if you do find any chaffing
Post up some pics if you do get them for future reference , you never know , they may look ok

Purely based on past experience of the last 4+ years of trial & errors with a variety of wheels sized 17,18,19 on varying et & j numbers wearing different tyre brands / widths / profiles on selection of Z models using a variety of suspension set ups :?

Now onto yourself Marius  this forum having a high percentage of decent members makes it that much easier to spot a cockhead & they don't come much bigger than yourself
I know a bigot when i read one & you my friend have that boxed off to perfection

Although you have to feel for him, despite being told he is an absolute bell end on every social media site that he posts on, he still trolls at savage level

Guys, will the 224 M rims fit? If so what size tire do I need to run?

Yes they will. Run standard tyre sizes I.e 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.
