PS4 vs PSS.....any views on what are better?
Also noob question but should XL/reinforced Tyred be used?
I can't seem to find PSS for front wheel sizing anymore so leaning to 4 x PS4
Also had Michy....should I look elsewhere?

Any driving in rainy or sub 5 degrees celcius conditions?? --> PS4
Uncompromised handling or track times?? --> supersport
(semi)daily driver --> PS4
PS4 will outperform the SS in 98% of the situations, for the other 2% the SS will be marginaly better, for a much higher price.
For your question about XL rating: most sizes in 18" or 19" come only in XL due to the short sidewall. when you got the chance, i would choose XL rating anyway in favor of some steering precision. you will lose marginally in comfort (but stil WAY better then the original RFT's crap)

I recently switched from Vredstein Ultrac Vorti to Michelin PS4. Not that I had any problems with the vreds there a great tyre and was and would would be happy with them any time. But as I was fitting new discs/pads/refurbed painted callipers and alloys I decided to go the whole hog. Must say I am impressed with the PS 4's they do everything i want and then more. Never had any super sports so can't comment, but a recent post was not to complimentary. For me don't hesitate you will not be disappointed.
