Style 32
The Style 32 is one of my all time favourite BMW wheels (along with the E30 Bottletops).
However most of the Style 32's are 5 and 7 series sizes.
The other day I stumbled across a set in Z4C dimensions being sold dirt cheap on ebay. Poor condition but only £100 for the set.
So I pounced.
A week in the wheel shop and all was good.
Half an hour was all it took to get them fitted.
Happy Z4C owner
Before: During: After: The Style 32's are also a lot lighter than the 135's - 9.1kg vs 12.7kg

They are noticeably lighter when picked up and that has to translate to un-sprung weight which is one of the goals of all manufacturers of sports cars so it's a winner even when it's hard to discern the difference on the road - every little helps (ask Colin Chapman)NickDE wrote:TBH only when carrying the wheels in and out of the garage !paulgs1000 wrote:That lightness is noticeable too - isn't it

That's my theory too. Which fully justifies the cost involved, and it has nothing to do with the fact that I think they just look nicerpaulgs1000 wrote:They are noticeably lighter when picked up and that has to translate to un-sprung weight which is one of the goals of all manufacturers of sports cars so it's a winner even when it's hard to discern the difference on the road - every little helps (ask Colin Chapman)

I went from MV2s running VReds to Style 32s on Goodyear Eagle F1s bought off Mr Wilks from paulgs1000's 3.0si (its complicated). Anyway, I noticed a big difference driving after the swap - lighter, more direct, more connection with the road. Could have been the rubber, could have been the lighter alloys, or maybe a combination of the two, but the car was definitely more rewarding to driveNickDE wrote:That's my theory too. And yes, imo they look nicer - and easier to clean

A major deciding factor. I'm also thinking about changing the E30 from cross-spokes to bottle tops for exactly that reason.Marlon wrote: and easier to clean

Has anyone got the staggered version to fit?
I love the deep dish ones but fitment seems a fair ways off.
Front wheels are 8J x 18'' ET20, Fitment 5x120
Rear wheels are 9J x 18'' ET22, Fitment 5x120
Wat are the sizes for 18" MV2's, I think they are et 47 and et50 but with an 8.5j rear, Seems to be plenty of space at the rear but would seem the fronts are the issue.
