Heya,
I'll be refurbing some 224's in the very near future but can't decide on what colour. They'll be going on my black M roady. Normally Mr bland middle of the road fence sitter has usually gone OEM silver but anyone have any orther ideas on a black car? Black are a 100% no go, but maybe shadow chrome or what else looks good?
Any pics would be mucho appreciated peeps...

I'd say gunmetal or shadow chrome.

Had a bit of a rollercoaster ride with these 224s but finally ready for the car today had them blasted & powdercoated in matt black before wet painted over the face to give a silver / grey / black effect depending on how the light or angle catches them
Going oem silver would have been too easy though those of you who saw my earlier instapost on the "slight" setback will probably think that the wiser mover

Having seen Grumpyowl's stunning Zed this week with new out of the box 224's I'll stick to OEM silver, they look superb.
Cheers chaps.
