I've read about it on other sites. Not sure whether to do this on my winter wheels.

Does it take to the wheels if they have corrosion?

if you clean them up, so there's no loose corrosion then yes, BUT it won't fill the pits so it'll look fine from s couple of feet away but not pass close scrutiny

On the plus side - if you don't like it you can peel it off easily so it's worth a shot.

That Roadster Spikeline has come out well. Hate to it but the Merc wheel looks like a plastic trim...

It might have looked better if I'd used the "glossifier" over the top but I just wanted to cover the dreadful corrosion, which it did..

Did this to my E36's winter wheels, now pilfered for use on the zed in winter. they look tiny as theyre 16" but plastidipping them matt black helped mask the size discrepancy a tidbit.
As above, make sure surfaces are skweeky kleen before spraying and give sharp corners a few sprays as it can tear if too thin.
