MV2 Alloys - How to spot replicas?

Post by jampudding » Tue Jun 13, 2017 3:04 pm

Thinking of getting some MV2s, can someone tell me what markings I should look out for so that I can tell they are original?
Presumably a BMW stamp - anything else? In fact do reps have BMW stamps?
Thanks

easy way to spot from the face side is there is a number 13 stamped near the hub on the genuine ones, the fakes do not

Very useful thank you. If anyone has a set and can take a photo of this I would be grateful.

There's also a BMW part number on the inside of the rim, by the hub I think (it might be on one of the spokes, I can't remember...)
