REPAIR KIT NON RUN FLATS

Post by marypoppins » Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:30 pm

Sorry guys probably been spoken about before. Any suggestions as to the best kit to cover a puncture now i have
FINALLY taken the plunge to remove the dreaded run flats?
If anybody can point me in the right direction as to the best options available on the market would be much appreciated.

This is good stuff

I have seen the kit for as cheap as £25 but that was a while ago.
I have used this many times and can confidently say it works on a puncture of the treaded area but nothing will get you going after sidewall damage, so if you are prone to clipping kerbs you will need a spare.

I have the Slime kit, fits nicely in the battery tray. Can't comment if it's any good as never had to use it.

Standard package is the Continental tyre sealant and compressor kit - here is one similar to mine, and here is a cheaper version

Of course, you could also add a tyre sealant that will stop punctures and leaks. I have this stuff in my tyres
