This year's EVO tyre test corroborates my thoughts on PS4 vs F1 AS3, they are better objectively and subjectively. PS4 won overall too.

Pleasing to see the Hankook S1 Evo2s finished above the GYears  ive just fitted a set ( ZMR ) on 19s so be interesting to see the difference after running Michelins for the last few thousand miles
What does surprise me is the Falken's finishing 4th  though from past experience they may fayre well from 8mm but get them down to 5mm & they may as well be budgets

I've had Falken 452 on my old 330 and they were alright but not as good as F1 plus they felt more like plastic than rubber.

I was surprised how low the F1 did this time but it does match the fact I haven't been impressed with the AS3. They claim it's an improvement over AS2 but I don't think it is.

Having run lots of different brands on various sports cars I still can't beat the grip and feel you get from the MPSS....'aesthetically' they look the best and IMO they are 100% the best tyre for RWD BMW's. Given that they are only £20 extra per tyre I think it's a no brainer getting them.

Reality is they're always worth the most as a 'used' tyre and that to me says they are the best of the breed.
