Learner driver not using mirror caused this!!

Post by Leesfarm07 » Sun Aug 27, 2017 11:06 am

Passing a learner driver on a dual carriageway when she decides she wants my lane. My avoiding action caused this to both front and back wheels as I scrambled along the central kerb trying to avoid a collision..aaaarghhhj!!

Hi Jamie. Thank you for your kind offer but they've gone back to the powder coaters where I had them done last year. It's so annoying...i was seriously tempted to bite the bullet and have them done by Mr Wilks' guy in that smoke tint but maybe next year. Anyway thank you  (seats still fab thanks)

The poor young lady looked so upset...maybe her first lesson ...i just let it go as I thought it would be a valuable fright for her to think about mirrors in future...and I didn't want to ruin het insurance before she'd had a chance to pass her test. Big softie

A silly old duffer bashed the side of one of our previous cars when he turned out from behind a 15mph tractor - tried to rub the dent out by spitting on a snotty handkerchief and rubbing it!
My wife, a self confessed pacifist was ready to almost lynch him !
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Except wouldn't it be the instructors insurance that took a beating, she wouldn't have any?

How does it drive after the kerbing, it may be worth having the tracking checked.

The old duffer that hit our car had a Silver Nissan Almera that looked like it had spent a while in Syria!
The fella knew the score that it was entirely his fault but stuck to his guns - " I am told I must not admit any liability " he kept saying!
