Just took out a policy for the wife's 1 series convertible. Went through go compare and the best was sure thing. £348 fully comp and a free dash cam. Just picked it up from halfords, result :thumbsup:

i have that dash cam its a decent bit of kit, i think i paid £50 for it from halfords

just a tip i'd get a bigger SD card than 8gb, that'll be full in no time. 32gb one i have in mine - seems the common choice for most 'dash cammers'

The cynic in me will claim that you'll not be paid out properly if you don't have this wired in / operational to 'prove' your side of the story when a claim arises

I could of had the policy £10 cheaper with no dash cam so I'm not sure that will be the case.

Just renewed my insurance with the meerkats, but they don't offer dash cams :(

Renewed mine Saturday with Aviva, less than £200.00 :)

They could have sent Macauly Culkin round as per there last tv commercial, so lucked out there then. :wink:

If they had "promised" to sent Macauly Culkin round I'd have a dash cam by now!
