He's going down to look at it on Friday.
does look a nice one, glad you liked my suggestion, however id be tempted to go for a propper M sport as they keep their residuals better and are nicer inside with the black headlining , chunky wheel etc, although the aero kit is nice

I'd second a BMW 330i E92. great looking car, probably the best handling 4 seater car I can think of. Should be able to get one comfortably within budget.

I think the ST would be more fun and less maintenance costs than the R32. VW seem to have lost the purpose of a hot hatch and made the R32 feel less connected. Just my opinion of course.

The car does look good, although I would question is that it was MOT'd in June and it had done 75,228miles and it is still on 75k so that means they have covered less than 772 miles in three months. I know i do a lot of miles but that is very low.

I would also check the rubber as they were an advisory at last MOT so should be new by now.

Yeah, just noticed that. Explains the price. Wonder what the damage was though as if he had evidence and it wasn't severe I'd still be interested. I don't mind buying Cat D cars as long as the damage and repair are well documented.

Some insurance companies can be funny, others fine. It's a gamble.

I couldn't drive around in one of those! As with the Ford ST IMO there is a certain type of individual that drives them..

A friend on PH bought a Evo7 to replace his XKR.

We had a wip around and bought him a base ball cap.

I didn't see which way he went if I got caught out, in the rain, on a run with him though.
