Shell V-Power Holiday?

Post by Marekdawg » Fri Oct 27, 2017 10:00 am

Wanted to check in with those who use V-power. :fuelfire:
I normally use V-power but recently I've been given a little code every time I fill up to win one of those driving holidays, has anyone on here had any luck out of curiosity?

The amount I buy a week (about 2 full tanks, £140) they should give me a bloody holiday, or shares in the company! But to answer your question, no not yet.

I always fill up with V power as it’s near my work but have only so far been given a ‘free’ water bottle  as others have said the amount I spend I should have been given a holiday by now.

I have been using Shell for years as its the closest to where I work but they are really starting to take the piss with their prices.
They are 6p a litre dearer than the next closest fuel station.
10,000 miles a year at 6p a litre more expensive is a lot of cash. They can stick their poxy rewards scheme that earns you practically nothing.
I think I worked out before that to earn a £2.50 voucher costs you about £20 more than using a cheaper petrol station.

Shell V-power is the preferred beverage for my Z4, but I couldn't get the poxy website to work so I don't think I'll be winning!

But all my local Shell garages seem to take the p*ss on pricing for V-power (even if I did get a "free" water bottle recently) despite being fairly competitive pricewise for standard unleaded.

But I think I may have to consider alternative suppliers!
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

I filled up yesterday in Germany.

Shell Super (i.e. standard 95ron) was €1.33.

Shell VPower was €1.52.

When I’m in Nurburg, I tend to use the Aral 102 which tends to be in around €1.42

Lol, cheers. I couldn't believe it at first, thought it was some kind of con tbh. Last thing I remember winning was a kettle when I was about seven.
Sadly didn't win the week beach holiday but not complaining about a weekend in Venice :)
