I've PM'd Pete on Zpost a few times, he said he'd let me know where there was any more info, so I can only presume his ongoing silence means an absence of any new info to tell, if there was any news I would definitely have heard from him. It's a shame really, but I know that people such as Jules and Monadh were as pissed off about this as all of us - TBH they can't do anything either though, irrespective of mod or admin status - it's all in the hands of Z4ce.sp3ctre wrote:...I have been entirely unimpressed with the way all the admins and mods have disappeared off the face of the planet...
I would concentrate the efforts on getting Z4-forum to the top of the google searches and forget about the Z4um domain name. True, a lot of the old posts and information such as the how-to's would be handy to have, but in a way I quite like being able to help in getting this forum off the ground from scratch.
And don't forget, in the last days of Z4um, there wasn't a great deal of posting going on, probably when the ///M was announced was the last peak of high activity there. In terms of no. of posts vs duration, this forum has been the most active Z4 forum in the last 12 months, no doubt.

Someone should get the few cached DIY articles left on Google from Z4UM's days. I did try to save a few and posted them to the "Zpost" forum, but there's plenty more out there. They'll expire soon enough though..
If you can remember the title for the old threads, just search for them on Google and select the "Cached" record when you view.
For example - this is the old cached record of the Dension install:
http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:71 ... =firefox-a
I can repost the DIYs I saved to Zpost.com...

Strange that internic says it's reg'd 'til 2008 though, I guess I don't understand the .COM TLD system as well as i thought I did.
