Thanks. I don't think he was ever abandoned. We think he was born from another stray dog. He was picked up in the shelter and left in quarantine for a few days and picked him up. At the time he was only a few months old. The Great Pyr's had a much harder time. The male was 2 years old, had mange, left outside his whole life, under weight and completely matted with fleas. Supposedly he was used as a guard dog and is super aggressive to dogs that are not properly introduced to him. The female is also 2 years old with the same situation as the male but was used for breeding. She's terrified of storms and runs into our closet and shakes when it starts to rain.Wondermike wrote:How could anyone abandon him, he's gorgeous561design wrote:He's a mutt we rescued. I think he's a golden retriver/german shepard/chow. The other two are rescues as well but they're purebred Great Pyr's.Wondermike wrote:561design what kind of dog is the one at the back in the first pic?
