Yes I agree, there's a few quotes and other stuff in the thread that shouldn't be there.
I started it as a reference thread.
This comments thread is a great idea.
I'll reference it in the other thread.

Thanks but its got three drill holes in it :headbang: and i cant be arsed to bet re-sprayed as know its patched up (OCD) lol so its either a M or Alpina bumper.
Jonny leave it alone, it looks fantastic.

Even if you do the work, you run the risk of either not liking it as much or a stone chip will ruin your day anyway.
We can't see the holes so fill 'em, file 'em and blend 'em in........

I think our reference thread is a success!

I just thought if someone was asking about say, certain wheels and someone said, blah-blahs car has those, it would be easier to go straight to a thread with our car pics on.
The thread is for our benefit really!

Thanks guys who have posted up their cars and saved me from looking like a loser!

3rdpillar... I thought only the black sapphire and deep sea blue worked with the pure white interior but you've proven me wrong, that red against it is spectacular. I do love that interior scheme, if only it didn't get so grubby. After four years I've had to apply a little paint on the leather here and there to make it look as good as new, nothing major though. Yesterday while detailing the car I noted a small ripple in the drivers seat leather, like bubbles, they've all but gone today so I think the heat was affecting them.. black leather would have been so much easier but then it looks so ordinary compared to the white nappa in our cars... anyhow yes, that pure white with red, very nice.

I first saw the E89 at the BMW dealership I take the MINI Cabrio to. It was the Deep Sea Blue and White Nappa that made me think .WOW!

It really wasn't until a few years later I first saw the Melbourne Red / White Nappa combination, that I would have even considered another red car.

Red 2 seater opentop... wasn't going to go too wrong was I. Thank you for you comments. It is really appreciated and makes Z ownership all the better.
Current Car : BMW E89 Z4 S-Drive 35is, Mineral White/Fusion/Nav/TV/Pro HiFi/Heated seats, steering/Cruise/Remote/Comfort etc etc etc ....

The main thread is a sticky Carol, no need to bump anymore  :poke:

Can we clean up the sticky so it's only photo posts? Would be much cleaner that way? (Edit - that's a question for the mods) :)
