Ha, I'd love this guy to film some kind of response to this video, love it when morons try to justify their actions.

I can not defend the indefensible but it looked like he had some sort of balance problem to me - so, problems with body and mind!!Bing wrote:What an idiot... What's with the elbow in corners ???

Re: Track Day T**T
The guy is a moron but don't assume that's typical of a track day. It depends on who organises them. I've only attended a couple myself, but if it was a BMWCCGB organised event he would've been black flagged, warned about his conduct and if he did it again, sent home early. On the two I've done the other drivers have been very courteous and considerate to others.Jonny essex wrote:This is why with hillbillies like this i will NEVER track my Zed or any car i own for that fact

Re: Track Day T**T
I believe he caused the crash with the Mclaren very shortly after he was shown the black flag.... Apparently he didn't change how he was driving at all, even though he was being told to get off the track...
I made a couple of mistakes when doing my first track-day...
The first mistake was to do it at Castle Combe; it's a hairy track and not really the ideal place for a novice to learn as the speeds are very high and the run-off is not huge if you get it wrong...
The second mistake I made was doing my first ever track slog during the Forge Summer Action Day. In my opinion the track was FAR FAR too busy, and the mix of abilities coupled with a lot of first timer "track-day heroes" meant I spent more time taking evasive action/staying out of the way of hooligans in sideways Evos than I did learning the lines and the limits of the car in a controlled environment.
It didn't put me off, but has caused me to be very careful how I go about booking my next track adventure....
I could post the video up if you all feel like flaming my driving too a

Re: Track Day T**T
It does not sound like a great experience for you fella, I loved my first track day at Knockhill. A slow short track and it was not too busy.
I hope your next foray is much more enjoyable.
