A single dog is no issue at all in the passenger seat, I've done that for years. Two dogs however isn't possible as there's no non-fudged way to secure them both, nor really room for two in a single passenger space. You could harness one into the seatbelt/seat and put another in the footwell but its far from ideal to have a dog able to move around much.

Its a slightly sad topic for me at the moment as the Z now gets even less usage because I have two dogs as of Christmas and I'm likely either going to trade it for a 5 series touring or keep it and buy a banger for the dogs to be carted about in.

Since selling our A6 Avant late Nov in hingsight we have struggled with a TT & Z4 & at xmas mrs w + terrier had the pleasure of a week in France in the Astravan
Now we have a cheapo X3 for the runaround & weekend dog walking jaunts , they are great value for money & still look good in the right colours + spec
Lazy wafters , not economical but nice to get around in

Did you get a six cylinder petrol or a diesel Andy, wanted an X3 for the carp fishing, but ended up getting the Legacy you saw at Knaresborough

Thanks Andy he was around last night and didn't settle. He was all excited and bonkers. That didn't help with the cat!! I am sure he will calm down can't wait for him to move in!! I am cleaning up under the stairs tomorrow so he has his space.

Pooches

Parker (Nosy Parker), all my Goldens are gone now so we found a Wheelchair Assistance dog who didn't pass the training. He's too rambunctious and bouncy. I could see him chasing a bunny and dragging a wheelie into the brambles , so we got him ....Yay !
