Lets see your Watches

It stings when you miss out like that, been there πŸ˜€
I had a time buying vintage omega, mainly costellations, did really well on most purchases, I did my homework and thought I could tell a fake or badly restored watch pretty well, one slipped through, but I sold it for what it was and didn’t lose out too much.

I'm likeing that and a good price too, it reminds me of the 60s Heuer panda dial :)

I have a weakspot for kickstarter watches as the chances are you will never see another, unlike Rolex's, Omegas etc.

Thanks Tim, it's my brothers company, hence I boxed them, still had to pay for the watch!

You should definitely buy a few though! I'll make sure they are boxed well for you!
I've gone for the classic white like yourself Sam, should arrive on Friday :)

Tim.
Brilliant! He's thankful for the support.

Good plan , having a beater that won't break your heart if scratched or damaged from daily use is a fine idea

He's just launched their first full on Swiss watch, bad timing eh?! But a bit of a stretch at Β£995. I think it's marvellous!

I've ordered one of these beauties, a Junghans 1972, just waiting for it to arrive at the shop so I can call and collect it

Yes Sticky, it's a throw back to a time piece from them when they we're the official timekeepers of the 1972 Olympics in Munich

Likeing that, am I right in thinking it a solar quartz? or is there any mechanical workings?

It's a quartz - with alarm by the looks of it.
