Zedless for a while - it's back :-)

Car was delivered back to me at lunchtime.
As far as I can tell the bodywork looks perfect - they had their top guy on it apparently. Went for a long test drive and its handling as well as it did prior to the accident (feels like they've added a few more horses while they were at it - god its fast ! :) )

I’m very impressed with the turnaround – LV insurance acted fast and agreed the pay out immediately and although their chosen repairers went over their estimated completion date by a couple of days, 10 days from accident to completion is good going in my book. I can take it back if there’s anything I’m not happy with and their work is guaranteed for 5 years. Now I just have to prepare myself for the inevitable kick in the nuts when my insurance premiums go up, which I’ve been told could be as early as next month as I pay by instalments.

Anyway, insurance aside, I’m so happy to get my Zed back as good as new. The rain has stopped and we're off for a drive – it’s so good to be back behind the wheel of the beaut.
:driving: :)

Car looks as good as it did 3 weeks ago....shame you get the kick in the wallet though. Is protected NCD not a viable financial option, worked for me when I had a big claim a few years ago.
I'd comfort myself with the thought that the hit & run driver will get what's coming to him/her.....karma and all that.

I had protected ncd when I drove my smart roadster into a tree, doesn't stop them from increasing your premiums though! Utter gits
