Very sorry to hear this Marlon  . I'd suggest investing in... https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00TDN ... th=1&psc=1

Really good piece of kit. I live in an apartment too and before I got a garage for my Z Arlo helped me sleep a lot better at night.

Hi Chris, the garage updated me yesterday and said the work should be completed by the end of next week, which I'm obviously very pleased about. My main concern was that this might be a long drawn out affair but everything seems to be going through quickly :)

I'd like to thank everyone for their good wishes and support

We are managing without a car - walking to work and getting the occasional taxi.

If you lived closer Collin, you could borrow one of my fleet....as long as it wasn't parked outside your home at night.

Sorry to read the bad news! :(

As has been said, think about renting a garage or installing a CCTV on the apartment / dashcam in the car.

Just caught up on this - sorry to hear it, Marlon, that really sucks. Are the garage doing a hunter-type alignment as well?

Yes they are Mark - thats the first thing the mechanic mentioned when I told him about the wheel, and I will get a print out. From the discussions I've had with the mechanic and the garage owner I'm feeling very confident about the repairs :)

 BTW - new paintwork = no polishing for a few weeks. How will you survive?
