Wot I did today

Finally got round to using the new wash mitt and drying cloth, so it's clean (until next time I go anywhere)!

I know how popular photos are, so here are some.

Wot I did today

Wot i dd today is install some 8SMD led sidelights and I must say, they are a marked improvement over the crappy little standard bulbs. Wondering how long theyll last....
Theyre no angeleyes but at least they sorta match the xenons for colour now and theyre a helluva lot brighter than standard too
Finally got around to adjusting the beam pattern on the left xenon too- to be considerate towards my Dutch friends here in Holland. No-one's flashed me once but u never know when a sharp-eyed John Q Plod is going to take issue and maybe a ticket too!
Oh and a little trip to they jetwash where a Tesla-driving ninkumpoop scraped the whole right side of his car due to misjudging a reversing technique, right in front of me too! Wanted to snipe some pics but thought it best not to as he was a rather large gentleman with tats and gold chains. He was probably too preoccupied with trying to tune in to Pikey FM on the big tablet thing those Teslas have. Silly sausage!
Anyway, some pics an ting....

Yeah right fred. Then have him and all his pikey brethren chasin after me for mugging him off. Not likely.
He already looked like he was ready to bury his fist into the wall just for being there! Lol
His passenger/ladyfriend/pikeywife/moll looked just as mean.
I diverted my gaze and stifled a furtive snigger tho 8)

U hooked up the permanent comfort charging cable for the ctek there? Thinking about doin that with mine to make it plug n play.
Whats that big chunk of grey covered velcro foam thing side to side for?

Yup, it's just a quick bolt on job to connect it to the battery terminals. I got ones with the red/yellow/green flashing lights. I fitted them to both the Coupe and the Touring, so I can see if a top-up is needed just by looking in the rear window. If they need a charge then I run the outdoor extension lead from the garage to the car and plug in.

It is a big chunk of grey covered foam with velcro used to stick from side to side in the boot. It's supposed to stop stuff like shopping and wheels sliding around. With only partial success, but it lives there now and holds the CTEK connector in place....

Hard wired a new dash camera next to the rear view mirror, as per the guide on this very forum. I wanted it hidden, non-removable with the hood down, and small. For £35 christmas deal it looks great and produced some clear video.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dashboard-Stea ... ash+camera

Soon as I go for a drive I'll put some proper video up.
