Thoroughly enjoyed the opening games, seemed all teams had a degree of first game nerves, obviously they'll all warm up and well hopefully be in for a great tournament, it was a great start to it imho. Really looking forward to England V Wales on Saturday, although being half Welsh it's a bit of a quandary who to really shout for..

Booked my seat on the sofa, boy going to watch it with me, wife told to be off the damn piano by 10 mins before kick off, a man needs to assert his authority over his woman now and again. I suppose it helps she's visiting friends as well.....

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed all the opening matches. He is mad keen and plays Tighthead Prop Under 16s for our local club so he was bouncing round the room during the England match ! We're both looking forward to next weekends fixtures

An interesting situation with the points this year. If it wasn't for the 3 points for a Grand Slam, it would have been possible to beat everybody, but still come 2nd to a team that had lost a game and take the title.

i think Italy will suffer from the new points system though as they will rarely get the losing bonus point and a lot of teams will pick up the 4 try bonus, pushing Italy further down the table.

Now that iIeland have lost one, I think the decider will be in Cardiff tomorrow, unless Ireland somehow mange to pull things together and beat England in Dubin

I'm afraid that with North injured, If Cuthbert starts then I'm throwing the towel in 2 mins after the kick-off.
Cuthbert cant even keep a place in the Cardiff side. God knows why he's still in the International Squad when there are far more inform wingers in Wales. :headbang:
