Lifer after 7 years of Z4 ownership!
Almost seven years after buying my first BMW it seems I'm a lifer!
I moved from two decades of classic MG, Alfa, Stag ownership to the Z4 in the hope that days out to the coast a weekend away would no longer involve a meeting with the AA man and winter re-builds! The Z4 hasn't let me down so far.
The previous owner suggested getting on the forum and it's been a fantastic source of information and entertainment, wheels and parts. I now also know about VANOS, MAF, RFT's!, the vagaries of BMW electronics, Ctek, what a clay bar is, roof motor drains, the mysteries of the offset, what makes a good advert, ..... and why I won't fit a stubby
So thanks guys
a few highlights,
On the original Turbines which I still like, shame they were 17"s

Congrats, you will be here forever now.
I love those turbine wheels as does Mr. Wilk's, and I think we both agree with you, shame they weren't 18"

Congratulations OP.
I also love those turbines - despite being 17s to me they look better than the 108s (shouldn't really say that seeing as I have 108s)!

Congrats mate - I too must be close to 7 years of owning zeds - first one was silver with whirlees and a whippy - also loved those wheels - had it nearly 3 years - current one almost identical to yours - sterling grey , 108's plus the much desired whippy Sold my old one to a mate who had pestered me for months to sell it to him - had acute withdrawal symptoms so bought another ! My car history doesn't include such an exotic model as a Stag ( always loved them despite their appalling reliability reputation ) but did include MG's ( real traditional MG's not the crap MGF ) Hope you enjoy another 7 years
