R8 V10. Appreciate you're buying older/higher mileage, but magical car and completely difference experience to the Zed, which to me is the idea.

I have always had a soft spot for these. Potential ruining costs have always put me off.

A bit left field but the options are looking pretty predicatable, how about a £110k BMW v8 engined 170mph aluminium bodied thing of quirkyness, love it

What Should I consider as another sports car?
A mate of mine bought a Maserati in as stock for his garage , it had just had 20k spent on it , with invoices as proof , in the previous 18 months , he paid the guy 16k I'm sure he sold it very quickly as a trade sale for a few hundred quid profit . I've had tvrs , great things but when I bought a griff 500 off the main dealer they told me it would leak in if left outside and the battery would discharge if left for a couple of weeks , I drove up the road wondering if the Porsche dealer would have said anything like that every noble I've seen at the ring goes very fast for a lap and is then usually found in the car park with the rear clamshell open !buzyg wrote:I have always had a soft spot for these. Is any of the Morgan range available at the required price point ? I've been down the road in a plus 8 with quad carbs and it was a handful to say the least , I know jeeper is ok with the spanners but I'm guessing he's like me , it's not a problem to fix it but maybe at a point in life where he really shouldn't be doing it ?

Some really great ideas in here. Appreciate some of the left field options and happy with spannering, but it's at choice not every week just to keep, it on the road.
I think I'd rule out the older cars that fit the price for the same reasons and last decades supercars are sometimes pretty stock these days
The Lotus looks awesome
No comments on the 4c good or bad - that surprises me?
Really surprised at how much desire for the F in coupe or roadster and it's an easy entry on the list.
Time to read the list again

Well the F type sounds great if you get the v8 and looks great too.
The Exige for a weekend car its a must if you haven't had a road lotus yet.
The porka great for everyday but not that special
A 35i would be a good compromise and a step up from where you are , relaxing and fast. The 35is sounds much better.
The r8 v10 sounds and looks amazing but very easy to drive fast so not much fun imho.
The Lotus would be the most fun to drive the 35i the best value and the f type/r8 the most expensive.

Lack of exposure maybe? I think I've only ever seen one 4C on the road and it looked awsom (in red obviously). A very special Alfa.cj10jeeper wrote:
