Got no central heating yet as my freebie combi boiler doesn't arrive till next week so I'm resorting to oil filled rads and those microwavable wheat sack bed warmers (which are brill!!)
Just lying in bed and have the washing machine running for the first time....oh shite the caravan is shaking on spin cycle!
Hi de hi :D
I've renovated property all my life and lived plenty of places without heating , hair dryer under the bed covers before you get in works a treat and only takes a minute

Sounds like a plan but might put it on a timer switch to come on several times during the night

It knocks the initial edge off the cold sheets . I built a house in France and considered a caravan on site but rented a flat in the nearby town to keep my sanity , although I did actually physically build the thing myself so it was nice to get away from the site every night and have a beer in a bar and sleep somewhere clean and warm .
Good luck with the build

Thank you
I'm treating this one as the learning curve ready for my forever home sometime in the future. Helped to renovate an old longierre (spelling) in the loire valley region near Angeres a couple of years ago and loved the place. Could quite fancy a little retreat out there

The main thing I learnt is not to let it overwhelm you , if I can do it in a country I don't really speak the language it should be easy for you  I've got some pics of the build if your interested but I don't want to nick your thread

I'm not much use with tech so they may be upside down or wrong order , it took about 4 years of working alone in between projects in England , about 14 months non stop
