Scotish Referendum

Post by sticky » Tue Mar 14, 2017 9:19 am

All arse about face as usual, in 1970 when England wanted to join the Eu as was, they needed the votes of N.Ireland Wales and Scotland. No surprise Scotland only wanted "in" on condition it led to indie ref. many moons later now Sturgeon and mates don"t want to leave which is a bit suspicious to us "older" people who remember the BS from then. Can"t remember all the "benefits" from back then but not seeing many now by being independent. I seriously think Brexit first then re do the indie ref on the basis of what"s known after the event, at least that way we can see what we be voting for or against, maybe could be might be

Well they had there chance, and as I understand if they were allowed back in it will be 2020+ at the earliest and join the Que - after it would have to wait in line with Montenegro, Serbia and Boznia and Herzegovina

As I understand Scotland cannot join the Euro without two years of currency convergence.

And when they will be allowed in - everyone else would have left

If there is another vote i hope she puts her position in the firing line, then she can feck right off.

Btw, sign anti ref petition here
https://petition.parliament.uk/

But the main problem is the fact that the partys only manifesto item is national independance, so her partys behaviour is to be expected no matter how stupid it is. Cant expect the raving vegetarian
Looney party to push bacon butties after failing to win in the elections.

Second biggest mistake Blair made was to give Scotland their own parliament. I know Jocks winge most of the time, but Salmond and Sturgeon winge more than a coach load of primary school children who've just been told Christmas has been cancelled. As for Angus Robertson, what a parsimonious, niggardly tw@t he is. I hope the Scottish people see sense and vote this lot out next time they get the chance.

Sturgeon has to resign as leader if she loses the next referendum and dissolve the Scottish parliament and hold an election. She will have no mandate to govern. Unless she's prepared to publicly commit to that we should refuse her call for another referendum.

It's a high stakes game but she's been backed into a corner. You're about to see the beginning of the end for the SNP.
