2m Apple Lightning cables?
I have a couple of these off the bay and they have stopped working / broken at the lightening end after a few weeks of daily usage.
Specifically need this length due to our bed.
Anyone recommend any long lasting ones? Thanks.

Apple 2m cable to be 100% sure but if a genuine "Apple approved for iPhone" from a reliable source as in Amazon essentials you should be ok
Most cables on sale are cheap unlicenced rip-offs and perform exactly as you describe

Get Anker ones - especially robust, some are kevlar wrapped. My son (who, I think, eats cables) went through OEM, eBay specials etc. at a blinding rate, and has had an Ankur one for over a year with no problems. I have one in each car, and one per family member and not had to replace a single one.
Got mine from Amazon, but there are ones on eBay (link). And they come in 6ft lengths (link)

Just make sure they are certified cables.
Don't buy cheap poor cables many of these are not certified and can be dangerous. All these fires and burned cables you hear about on the news are generally these cheap replicas. Last thing you want is this happening next to your bed or anywhere in your home, especially if you leave it on and your not home.
Many that aren't approved get very hot and burn through the plastic liner or even the connecter. It will ruin your device and worce case will put you and your family in danger.

Macworld wrote a decent article I'm sure most brands sell different lengths.

Really? I am very surprised, ours have been brilliant. Looking at the feedback I see:jabber wrote:Had a look at anker on amazon but very mixed reviews so not sure whether to order
That looks like pretty good feedback to me (for Amazon) I bought mine over a year ago, it travels with me and gets a pretty hard life. This is how it looks today:

Yes lots of very good reviews but still people seem to have early failures perhaps a bad batch
