Won't be the same without him,and it was better before velocity took it over, and it became more in the USA,with mainly American cars.

Lost the Wheeler dealers feel
Wouldn't be surprised if Aaron Kauffman turns up in a series of his own Craig,it seems the way with US tv
Wont be watching Wheeler Dealers any more without Ed  Brewer is just a tosspot
I have been thinking about how Aaron left Gas Monkey and was wondering if he was tied to some sort of tv contract.
At the end of the day the program was mainly about him and Richard so would think there would be a contract of sorts that they couldn't get out of.

I've been less impressed since it moved to the US and after 13 years I think they had done pretty much everything. Probably the right time to change it a bit. However, if as Ed says they reduce the workshop element then that's the core of the show gone and there really isn't much point in watching Brewer buy a car, drive it back and collect a few parts before a contrived test drive and sale

It looks like it's going to follow the formula that every US 'flip' reality show follows.

Lots of puff pieces about the 'stars' and their interpersonal issues, but very little showing the work they're doing or nor much about the actual subject of the show

Well that's another show ruined. No doubt the Yanks will dress it with a thick layer of cheese and remove the meat. Dickheads!

Shame about WD but there are lots of good guys on Youtube making decent videos of maintenance and repair jobs. Just search Youtube for Bavarian Autosport.

Pity he's left but I understand why. Personally, I lost interest when the show went across the pond mainly cos I couldn't relate to the cars

Yes less relation to the cars and maybe the projects got too big.
I mean it started as a show with a concept that gives the impression that oneself as an average joe car enthousiast could do those jobs in their own shed. You know, fixing up a mx5 with some rust and a dodgy suspension arm. Not restoring a 1916 cadillac...
I think the succes of wheeler dealers was the concept and not how produced and flashy it looked.

Thank god he's split and leaving that Tw*t Mike behind.

Lets hope Ed gets his own UK program restoring UK cars again.

I also stopped watching after it went to the US, sounds like they are doing full restorations now rather than fixing issues to make a car roadworthy??
I suppose having ant anstead will help with that as thats his day job isnt it, full body off restorations? He did that show with phil glenister doing just that then selling at auction.

Two completely different sets of skills though.
Aaron seems more of a bolt on upgrade type and Ed is a repair type of guy
