Newcastleton - Scottish Borders

Just a heads up re the road from the A7 to Newcastleton the B6357 - I took the zed for its first run out of the year and I know it's a road a few of us up here use and enjoy but have to warn those who intend to use it again, that the road is now in very poor condition with some wheel killing potholes in significant positions !

Take care that they don't catch you out - they nearly got me a few times
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Know what you mean ronk - been up there recently. Sadly not the only road that could crack an alloy, many seem to be getting dreadful - glad I'm not still a motorcyclist as I'm convinced some could be lethal on a bike cranked over! :o

The potholes all seemed to be on the line in or out of the corner - bad in a car but as you say, a real danger on a bike!
