Little bit more "active tracking" I was not controlling the drone at all once driving..

I'm impressed...

It works even better with people, here's my six year old son, who reckoned he could outrun it.

Ignore the littering at the beginning, he was suitably chastised and made to pick it up, I put it down to excitement.

Note when he turned and started coming towards the drone, it spins and reverses.

I am seriously impressed.

Getting the hang of this now, just need to make a few tweaks to the gimbal speed and slow down my inputs on the controls.. This thing is sensitive to them!

Gonna try out the "cinematic" mode tomorrow which "softens" the reactions, so if comes to a stop more slowly.

Cool vids, did you buy anything beyond the basic drone from amazon?

I'd say perhaps the euro-cheese-dance tune doesn't QUITE go with the softly gentle british countryside duck lake type cinematics... ;)

I bought the "fly more combo" kit from Maplin. £1,359 but got some discount. The prices are pretty firm everywhere, the problem is finding it in stock for collection.

Excellent ,been using one for about a year a Phantom 3 love it great fun and shot some amazing videos .

Just be carefull where you fly it read up on the drone code ,as lots of police forces and local authorities are paying more attention to drones .

One of the things I like about the Mavic is that it's small and quiet, so tends not too attract as much attention as say a phantom.
