Marlon wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2017 9:02 am Chris, your loquaciousness has brought a wonderful joie de vivre to the forum, long may your verbosity continue.
Congratulations fella
Word of the day - loquaciousness ! Please tell me you had to look up how to spell it though :D
Loquaciousness is just a posh or polite way of calling someone a gobshite
e.g.'he was a rather loquatious chap, with an irritating propensity for rambunctiousness and a somewhat irksome leaning towards outright circumlocution and an unending preference for the periphrastic'

But thanks all the same Colin! :P
Marlon getting all posh :)
I think you will find, that's French for gobshite and Chris truly is a gobshite.
Can also be called "far to much time on your hands" but around these parts we just say he's got verbal diarrhea him
Congrats on your milestone Chris
Right I'm off to the lifer's lounge, it's just fantastic there, it lifts the forum to another level

Your grammar and sentence structure are truly appalling fred! A true sign of a tardy but bonafide gobshite! 5 demerits and a 3 page essay on 'why I must use correct grammar' by end of tomorrow' morning's breaktime!

What's a proper job these days? Does it even exist?
I'd much rather be working for myself but reaching this milestone in such a relatively short amount of time as well as comments in this thread has certainly made me realise that the 20-30 mins during a typical working day i spend here could be translated into potential lost profit from my business.

Think about it; that's at least 2 1/2 hours a week that I could spend searching for new contracts on the EURES portal to bid on.
Or drafting a contract bid. Or assessing potential new subcontractors. Or seeking out new developing markets. Or making sure my pricing structures are up to date and reflect current market demand.

But no, I make a conscious decision to spend that time here, sharing my wisdom, wit, waffle and wonderous musings with you, the community... Because i care. :P

Many thanks for limiting your entrepreneurial activities for the benefit of the community.
