Hi everyone, not sure where to post this so have reposted here!
Not posted much for a few months as I've been a little preoccupied with my new girlfriend, who has a nine year boy.
I'm after some advice reference car booster seats or the like if anyone can help.
I want to know what is necessary now to carry the boy in a standard car (currently an A6) or in my 35iS.
I'm assuming its in the rear only in the Audi with a booster seat maybe? And the same if I carry him in the front of the E89? He is not very tall maybe 1100mm at the most. In both cars the seatbelt fits across him ok, especially in the Audi when in the lowest position
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

Some sort of seat or booster seat is required for children under 12 and 135cm in height.

Ok Buddy, that's all there is to it then? Does that apply to the rear seats in a saloon car too though?

I'd ALWAYS use a full seat, ie one with a base AND a back, to give side protection. For the three little boys, I have these in the car;

They aren't the cheapest, but when it comes to the kids.....

I believe they also say to have the passenger seat as low as possible if the air bags is on. I guess it's to stop the air bag hitting their body.
