You got it bass-ackwards. We drive on the right side of the road. And RHD steering would be quite the novelty here. Everyone would know that it is a true Euro Spec car. 8)

Besides, I'm sure I could find an M20 engine in a pick-n-pull yard somewhere out here in Nevada. I know my friends in Cali have them. 8) I actually know where a 323i, euro spec, was sitting in a junk yard in Cali... back in the fall of 2005. :? Not sure if it's there anymore.

And I really do hate hate hate US customs. What year is the car?

No one in Reno has vintage BMWs apparently so Vroomer is starting his own club. He drives each car to a single location, then runs around talking to himself.

It's quite entertaining and very social.

Considering I have one car in Reno, one in Paso Robles, and one in San Luis Obispo... Having one, that doesn't work, in the UK was the next logical sequence of events here. DUH!   8)

Spokey,

Thank you for your generous offer. At this time I must decline. I'll PM you more about the why. Thank you for being totally up front about it, too.
