Bloody hell Ross, really sorry to hear about your lad, but I'm sure he will go on to do great things in his life and he looks like a fighter.
I did do a double take as he looks quite like our son, what's his name ?.
If you want a meet up, we are driving down to the AV8 cafe, near Cirencester, this Sunday morning for a breakfast, would be great to see you and your son. Hoping Monkey Matt will be coming along with his nipper too, if you can make it, it would be good to see you both.
If there's anything that you need help with, I'm sure your forum family will rally round.
Cheers, Fred

Inspiring and humbling! That's all I can say really, anything else won't do you and your son justice. Great news that the wheelchair fits in the boot, at least drives out etc can still be shared!

Thanks mr Tourette. My lad is the one doing all the impressive stuff. I just give support where I can. Don't get me wrong he can be a typical know it all 15 year old and he does get disciplined when necessary. I don't treat him any different than before the accident. I ask him to be respectful at all times. Sometimes he gets antsy but in the main he's a good lad

Great attitude Ross, and I think every parent on here will share your pride at how well your son is reacting as well as your feelings about the whole situation. You should be immensely proud of him, and not ashamed that at time you find it tough to deal with.

Hats off to you buddy.

Thanks for posting that. Inspiring to read how your lad is overcoming adversity and getting on with what life has punched his way. Best of luck to him with his exams, hard work usually pays off.
