Very sad to hear of his passing today.

Suave, sophisticated, witty, for me the best Bond.

Tim.

God bless sir Roger, sad to hear,RIP. Pleased you didn't suffer too long. Also my favourite Bond loved his humour everything tounge in cheek didn't take it too serious as it should be.

Yes indeed a sad day. Heard on the way home from work. Easily the best Bond. 8) I suspect he has had some good times through his life too. :) Will be watching the Persuaders tonight with a little sadness in my heart.

RIP Sir Roger

I first came to know Sir Roger Moore as The Saint which was on TV in the late 60's every Saturday night along with his Volvo 1800. :driving: Great Show.

He reminds me of my teenage years in the 70's. All the family went to his Bond films at the cinema as soon as they came out. And I too loved the Saint and the Persuaders, he was so cool.

RIP Roger Moore.

A very modest 'Hollywood star', every interview I've heard him give was self deprecating and egoless. He was certainly a one off and the first bond I remember, back in the days were there was a lovely naivety to action films.

Can you imagine the fun times he must have lead during his time as Bond...! A great actor and the Bond I remember from my childhood.
