Many thanks, it was done by hand, took me around 4 and half hours but included washing and dressing plastics/engine bay. I'm unsure it would be a good idea letting me loose with a machine polisher :o My OCD would have it looking silver in no time

You like silver cars though

A cracking wax

I some ways I wished I hadn't polished yesterday, still slightly annoyed finding the mirror base cracked and can't work out how its happened and thinking its been there all along since new and has got worse over time. Will see what the dealer says, I'm unsure it would crack there if the mirror had been knocked when retracted which it always is when parked, it would have to take a good wack and there's no other damage at all.

I think there is a years warranty on the cars trim.

Very nice car Tim. I've always liked Estoril Blue...one of my fave BMW colours.

I drive the wife to distraction cleaning my Zed, I have a polisher, only used it once on my previous Z4 not brave enough on this one as it's less than 12 months old. Mine is Estoril, I love the way it looks different colours depending on the light.

Thanks guys :) Estoril is a kinda polishers dream and does give satisfying results especially after having silver cars for years which only really shines in low light conditions :)
