Petrol engines beginning of the end
Electric cars still have tyre noise, and sound like a London Underground train. They are never that silent, even if creeping around a car park on electric power. This surprise is, we are listening for a petrol engine, not a tube train.
If you try and take a cat apart the first thing you have is a non working cat.
